Arab Popular Committee vows support for the Palestinian Intifada
Syria-Palestine, Politics, 2/24/2004
The "Arab Popular Committee for Supporting Intifada and Resisting the Zionist Scheme" denounced the Israeli aggressive practices against the Palestinian unarmed people.
In a statement issued Monday, the Damascus-based Committee asserted that the wall is an aggression on the Palestinian lands and on the future of the Palestinian cause, asserting that it violates international law.
It pointed out that the wall symbolizes the "racial Zionism and aims at perpetuating the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands and isolating the Palestinian people in separated cantons."
The Committee also condemned the Israeli diggings surrounding and under al-Aqsa mosque which led to the destruction of a part of the road leading to Magharbeh gate.
It asserted that the Israeli procedures will never deter the Palestinians from working to reach their goals of independence, self determination and return to their land, asserting support to the Palestinian people and Intifada till achieving their legitimate rights.
