Washington lifts travel to Libya next week
Libya-USA, Politics, 2/21/2004

Officials at the US Department Of State said yesterday that Washington decided to lift the sanctions imposed on the travel to Libya next week in the most recent gesture to reward Libya over giving up its programs to produce nuclear weapons.

With the rapid move made by Libya in abiding to its principles, it announced in December 2003 to dismantle its program to produce mass destruction weapons, the US is careful to appear as if it is releasing Libya from its isolation that it had for decades.
