Syrian- UAE first tourism forum
United Arab Emirates-Syria, Economics, 2/21/2004

Syria's Tourism Minister, Sa'dalla Agha al-Qal'a has stressed Syria's care to deepen the standing relations of cooperation with the UAE in the different domains.

In a statement upon arrival to the UAE to take part at activities of 1st Syrian-Emirates Economic Forum, al-Qal'a said that opportunities of investment in Syria in the economic, tourist and industrial projects are open before the UAE and Arab investors and businessmen.

He hailed the Syrian Business Council initiative to hold the 1st Syrian-Emirates Economic Forum which ensures opportunity for exchanging viewpoints between the governmental sides and economic activities in both countries about the best ways for developing investment.

The forum is scheduled to start in Feb 22 and aims at activation of the economic cooperation between Syria and the UAE in all economic domains and investment projects.
