Morocco calls for new impetus to inter-Arab trade

The Moroccan minister of Finance and Privitization has called on the Arab states to lift barriers impeding inter-Arab trade and to become more competitive.
Fathallah Oualalou who was addressing the opening of the 73rd session of the Arab Social and economic Council, said that although the Arab states have made progress in implementing the executive program of the Great Arab Free Trade Zone, enforced in 1998, the volume of inter-Arab trade remains very low. nsportation costs
