King of Bahrain meets Moroccan FM

King of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, received in Manama this Tuesday Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, who arrived in the Bahraini capital on the same day to participate in the Morocco-Bahrain high commission.

According to the Bahraini news agency, the King of Bahrain expressed pride at the important part played by King Mohammed VI of Morocco in upholding Arab causes.

The Bahraini monarch also praised the work accomplished by the two bilateral high joint commission in achieving integration and rapprochement between the two Arab states.

The Moroccan official had also met Bahrain's prime minister, Sheik Khalifa Bin Salmane Al Khalifa who said he was convinced new perspectives of cooperation between the two states will be opened in the economic, trade and investments fields.

According to the source, the two officials also surveyed latest Arab and international developments.

Benaissa came from the United Arab Emirates where he has chaired the Morocco-UAE joint commission (feb.14-16).
