NGO calls on European Parliament to probe fate of Moroccans sequestrated in Southern Algeria
Morocco-European Union, Politics, 2/18/2004

The Sweden-based "Association de Defense des Sequestres de Tindouf" (ADESETI) has urged the European Parliament to probe the fate of the Moroccans sequestrated in the Tindouf Camps (Southwestern Algeria) by the separatist movement "Polisario."

Alamine Yahia, ADESETI spokesman seized the opportunity of the forthcoming meetings of the UN Commission on Human Rights to be held in Geneva from March 15 to April 23, to urge the European parliament to shed light on the fate of a hundred of Moroccan Saharan people who disappeared in those camps.
