Sheikh Zayed confers with Mubarak

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak yesterday arrived in Abu Dhabi coming from Muscat in the framework of a Gulf tour and he met immediately upon his arrival with President of the United Arab Emirates UAE Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan.
The UAE news agency said that Mubarak arrived in the country in a "brotherly visit lasting for several days during which he will hold talks with President of the state Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan." Sheikh Zayed, however, held talks with the UN delegate al-Akhder al-Ibraheimi on "results of the visit of the UN delegate to Iraq and the efforts made to achieve security and stability for the Iraqi people," according to the UAE news agency.
