AL's concerns over Israeli digging under Jerusalem's al-Aqsa mosque
Palestine-Regional, Politics, 2/18/2004
The Arab League (AL) expressed deep concern over Israel's continued digging under Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, warning against dangerous repercussions of such moves on the Holy Mosque, particularly following the collapse of part of road leading to Bab Al-Maghariba neighborhood.
In a statement in Cairo Tuesday, the AL Spokesman Hussam Zaki held Israel responsible for any damages that could affect the Mosque as a result of those provocative steps, describing them as a flagrant violation of the international resolutions.
