Morocco UAE sign several cooperation agreements

Morocco and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) concluded, in Abu Dhabi on Monday a package of cooperation agreements in various fields, at the end of the third meeting of the two states joint Commission (Feb 14-16).
These agreements were signed in the field of tourism, culture, environment, telecommunications, sea resources and information technology.
The third meeting of the Joint Commission was held few weeks after the visit paid by Moroccan King Mohammed VI to the UAE.
Morocco and the United Arab Emirates agreed to set up a joint council of businessmen to promote bilateral trade, it was announced.
Morocco, already bound with the Emirates by a free-trade agreement that entered into force in July 2003, also eyes to broaden its cooperation ties with the entire Gulf Cooperation Council countries to set an Arab free trade area.
