Egypt to play a key role in international market of liquified natural gas

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum, Sameh Fahmy, said Egypt is qualified to play a key role in the international market of liquified natural gas
Egypt's reserves of natural gas hit in December 2003 around 62 trillion cubic feet, he pointed out.
Egypt has joined the natural gas exporting countries on 'July 27 last year with the launching of the first phase of the Arab natural gas pipeline to Jordan, said the Egyptian minister.
Egypt is due to export natural gas to Spain and Italy starting from November,2004, said Fahmy.
