Algerian- Chinese cooperation in fuels

Chinese President Hu Jintau concluded a state visit to Algeria yesterday. An Algerian official source announced that the two countries decided on this occasion to boost their economic partnership forward, especially in the field of fuels by signing "a framework agreement. "
No technical details were disclosed for this agreement nor its nature ( in the field of oil, gas or regarding production, explorations or selling ) neither its cost. However, its aim is to develop trade exchanges between the two countries.
In an honorary supper Butaflika held for the Chinese President, he said that "conditions have become optimum to encourage economists in our two countries to foster their commonalities by establishing partnerships in the areas of peasantry, industry and services. I have to recall improvements introduced by Algeria to investments sector, manifested in ensuring total economic stability and embarking on encouraging legislations."
For his part, Hu said that China is "proud of the credit of deeply rooted traditional friendship between the two countries and hopes to continue deepening joint bilateral cooperation."
