Damascus releases 92 political prisoners
The Syrian authorities on Saturday released 92 political prisoners. A matter which raises the number of released prisoners since last Thursday to 122 persons.

Lebanon returns back to Iraq millions of frozen dollars

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud has expressed appreciation for the historical achievement by the release of the captives freed from Israeli occupation's prisons, and the restoration of Lebanese "Martyrs" corpses.
Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara on Saturday received his Lebanese counterpart Jean Obeid. At the beginning of the meeting Shara extended his congratulation to Lebanon's government, people and resistance for the return of prisoners from jails of the Israeli occupation. Talk also dealt with the latest developments in the region and the bilateral relations between the two states.
Iranian foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi highly appreciated the victories achieved by the Lebanese national resistance, the latest of which was the setting free of Arab prisoners from Israeli jails, stressing that resistance forced the Israeli invaders to withdraw from south Lebanon.
The public treasury has incurred, as at Nov.2003 a loss of revenue of 2.1 billion DH (US$ 238.6 million) as a result of tariffs dismantling applied for European products, in accordance with the association agreement with the European Union.
