The number of persons killed in two suicide explosions that targeted the headquarters of the two main Kurdish parties to the north of Iraq increased to 57 persons, at least, and wounding more than 225 persons, while a Kurdish minister said that the number of killed might increase to more than 100.

Because of shoving in the first days of the Eid, some 244 pilgrims die at al-Jamra throwing at al-Aqaba
Saudi Arabia's minister of pilgrims, Eyad Bin Amin Madani, said that 244 pilgrims died and a similar number were wounded as a result of a stampede of two million Muslims to throw al-Aqaba Jamra in Mona, near Mecca, in the first day of Eid al-Adha.

Three Americans killed; Interim Council punishes media for criticism
the Iraqi Interim Governing Council decided to ban al-Jazeera channel from entering the headquarters of the council or to attend its press conferences for one month. The statement came in protest over a comment on the conditions in Iraq by one of the guests of the "opposite direction" ( al-Itijah al-Mu'akis) last week.

A branch for the Jordanian university in Israel
