Iranian- Sudanese transport cooperation

The Iranian minister of road and communications, Ahmad Jazam, has called for the need of developing cooperation relations between his country and Sudan in the area of air and sea transport and the railways.
Jazam expressed during his meeting in Tehran on Saturday evening with the Sudanese minister of aviation, Joseph Melwak Dank, Iran's readiness to run air flights between Tehran and Khartoum, noting thereby the air transport agreement signed between the two countries.
For his part, Dank expressed the readiness of Sudan to sign a memorandum of understanding with Iran in the fields of mutual concern, noting Sudan's need to technological cooperation with Iran in the air industries field.
