Kharrazi highlights Lebanese Resistance
Lebanon-Iran, Politics, 2/2/2004

Iranian foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi highly appreciated the victories achieved by the Lebanese national resistance, the latest of which was the setting free of Arab prisoners from Israeli jails, stressing that resistance forced the Israeli invaders to withdraw from south Lebanon.

Kharrazi, who returned from Geneva where he participated in a conference on nuclear non-proliferation, told reporters he hoped it would be possible soon to determine the fate of four Iranian diplomats abducted by Israeli occupation troops inside Lebanon in 1982. The Iranian chief of diplomacy called for freeing the world from all nuclear weapons, reiterating his country's denial of possessing such weapons.
