Security council unanimously agrees on three-month extension of UN mission in sahara

The UN Security Council unanimously adopted Friday Resolution 1523 that extends by three months the term of MINURSO, French acronym of the United Nations' mission for a referendum in the Sahara.
The United Nations' mission will be extended under the new resolution to April 30, 2004.
