Investors' guide project officially launched in Egypt

The signing on 25 January of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the President of Egypt's General Authority for Free Trade Zones and Investment, Mohamed El Ghamrawy, and the Head of the European Commission Delegation in Cairo, Ian Boag, marked the launch of the MEDA funded 'Internet-based Investors' Guide' regional project in Egypt.

Talks on the importance of the MoU in EU-Egypt relations were held between El Ghamrawy, who has ministerial rank, and Ambassador Boag before the signing ceremony. The MoU provides for a standard model of web site to be used by Mediterranean Partners' organisations wishing to publish guides to attract more investors to the region.
