Yemen: One man wanted by the American arrested

The ruling People's General Congress party in Yemen announced quoting a security source that the Yemeni authorities detained Jaber al- Banaa, the Yemeni who carries the American nationality, which the US accused him of terrorism and allotted a reward of 5 million dollars for those who give information leading to his detention.
The website of the ruling party on the internet quoted the security source as saying that "al-Banaa who was accused by the American authorities of leading cell ( Lakona 6) is now one of the detention centers in Yemen in order to complete investigations with him since several weeks."
The security source refused to give any information on al-Banaa detention ( 39 year old) or the place of his arrest.
The American authorities believe that al-Banaa belongs to what is known as Buffalo cell in New York state, whose members admitted receiving training at a camp for al-Qaida organization in Afghanistan in 2001 and are accused by Washington of supporting al-Qaida.
