Washington lifts immunity from 16 Saudis

A high ranking official at the US Department Of State said yesterday that Washington lifts diplomatic immunity from 16 Saudis and asked them to leave the USA, because of their religious activities made under the cover of their diplomatic status they used to enjoy.
This official who asked not to be anonymous said "we have asked 16 Saudis to leave because we found out after studying the ( Saudi ) diplomatic list that they are not working in the embassy, rather work as missionaries for Islam outside the embassy."
He added "therefore they do not have the right to have the status of the diplomat," noting that those person will leave the USA "shortly."
