Syrian prime minister confers with Armenian minister of culture

Premiere Mohammad Naji Otari received in Damascus Tuesday Armenian Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs, Tamara Poghosian, and an accompanying delegation on the standing historic relations between the two countries and the importance of developing those relations in the economic, social and cultural fields.
Talks also dealt with the activities of the "Armenian Cultural Days" held in Damascus and other governorates and with the executive program of the cultural and art cooperation between the two sides during 2004.
