al-Dustor: Egypt: Arab Gas pipeline project shows things can happen when there is will

Egyptian Petroleum Minister, Samih Fahmi, said that Arab Natural Gas Pipeline Project constitutes one of the strategic economic projects in the history of the Arab Nation, and that it is considered as a distinguished example for projects of the joint Arab cooperation.
In a statement issued today by the Jordanian daily al-Dustor, the minister said that this project stresses that the strategic Arab cooperation projects are capable to being implemented if there is will.
Fahmi pointed out that the third phase of the project which extends from Syrian-Jordanian borders to the Syrian-Turkish borders, to Banias ( Syria ) and then to Tripoli in Lebanon, is to be launched simultaneously with the second phase that extends from the Jordanian port of Aqaba to nearly the Syria-Jordanian borders with aim of saving time and efforts.
