Democracy, respect for human rights underpin Egyptian policy

The principle of freedom, democracy, respect for human rights underpin Egyptian's policy under the leadership of President Hosni Mubarak, Egypt's Shura Council Speaker Mustafa Kamal Helmi said yesterday during a meeting with the head of the Canadian Supreme Court.
