Two Palestinians killed; Palestinian legislative council: the government did not attain security to citizens

The Palestinian legislative council held the government of the Palestinian prime minister Ahmad Qurei' responsible for the failure to attaining security to the Palestinian citizen. A matter which pushed the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat to give his instructions to the minister of the Interior and to the security departments to form operations room "immediately" in order to control internal security in the Palestinian territories.
A statement broadcast by the Palestinian Wafa agency following a meeting for the national security council chaired by Arafat said that "President Arafat issued his instructions for the minister of the interior and the national security council in order to form central and branch operations room, in order to carry out this mission and immediately start a project to control internal security."
The Palestinian legislative council during its yesterday's session which was held in Ramullah held the Palestinian government responsible for the failure to achieve security for the Palestinian citizen and blamed it over "not taking necessary measures to control the security situation and the sovereignty of the law," and considered that it " failed to achieve security for the Palestinian citizen."
On the other hand, Palestinian medical sources said that two Palestinians were killed by the occupation soldiers on Saturday to the east of Gaza. The sources explained that the two Palestinians were civilians who were hit in the face and head near the separation wall between Gaza and Israel.
UNRWA said yesterday that its commissioner general handed over 37 new houses for Palestinian refugees, that the Israeli army demolished their houses during the current Intifada in Khan Younis to the south of Gaza.
