New UN ultimatum to Morocco on sahara, quite weird, paper
Morocco-UN, Politics, 1/24/2004
UN Secretary general Kofi Annan's new report asking for another three-month extension for the UN peacekeeping mission in the Sahara, until April 30, for a "final response" from Morocco to the Baker peace plan, has been criticized by the Moroccan media with one paper describing it as "quite weird."
The daily in French "Liberation," finds it "quite weird" that Annan sets a new "ultimatum" to morocco to give its reply to the Baker plan, a reply which, according to the paper, Morocco has "already formulated a few months ago."
