Greek president confers with Lebanese premier, parliament speaker in Beirut

In two separate meetings Greek President Constantinous Stefanopoulous, currently visiting Lebanon on Wednesday received at his residence in Beirut Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
Talks during the two meetings dealt with the bilateral ties and the Lebanese stance vis-a-vis the latest developments in the region in light of the continuation of the Israeli aggressions and violations of Lebanon's sovereignty. Means of improving and enhancing the Lebanese-Greek relations in all fields were also dealt.
