Gulf secretary meets with Syrian ambassador on cooperation

The Secretary General of the Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Abdul Rahman Atiya, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador in Riyadh, Ahmad Nizam Ed-Din, the existing relations between the GCC and Syria, and ways of further developing them. The two sides also discussed latest developments on the regional and international levels, particularly the present situation in Iraq and the occupied Palestinian lands.
