Turkey for unity of Iraqi parties

Turkish Foreign Minister Under Secretary, Ogor Zayal, called on all parties in Iraq to shun away from any moves that could lead to the disintegration of the country, warning that Ankara would not stand still if there is any tendency in this direction.
Zayal was quoted by the Turksih Hurriet daily Saturday as saying after meeting Barham Salih, a leading member of the National Union of Kurdistan Party in Iraq, that his country opposes all attempts that could infringe on Iraq's geographical or political unity.The Turkish official added that Iraq's neighboring countries share Ankara's point of views in this regard.
