NGO inform Spanish cardinal on human rights breaches in Tindouf camps
Morocco-Spain, Politics, 1/15/2004

A delegation representing a group of associations for the defense of human rights in the Sahara informed Tuesday the cardinal of Seville (Spanish southern city), Carlos Amigo Vallejo, the highest religious authority in the city, on human rights violations in Tindouf camps, southwestern Algeria.

The delegation shed light on the inhuman conditions in which Moroccan prisoners are living in the prisons of Polisario, an Algeria-backed secessionist group claiming the independence of Moroccan southern provinces.
