Moroccan experts help Mauritania fight locusts

A group of Moroccan experts started on Monday their mission helping Mauritanian peers in the fight against locusts currently infesting their northern, central and southern regions.
A Mauritanian official told MAP Moroccan experts, equipped with four helicopters, have started their mission in the city of Akjoujt (256 km north of Mauritania). He expected the mission will not exceed two months, given the experts' professionalism and the efficiency of the adopted plan.
