Syrian pharmaceuticals to expand exports in the Gulf states

Minister of Health Mohammad Iyad al-Shatti met in Damascus on Tuesday General Director of the Executive Bureau of the Gulf Cooperation Council States' Health Ministers Council Tawfiq Ben Ahmad Khojeh.
Shatti talked about the reality of the national medicine, stressing that 38 Arab and foreign states import medicine from Syria.
He talked about the procedures followed by Ministry of Health to make use of the achieved success in the field of medicine to include all other sectors, stressing the necessity for finding markets for the Syrian medicine particularly in the Gulf states.
He also pointed out that the Syrian medicine proved to be popular in many states, and that the Syrian medicine is meets highest standards as certified by the international ISO certificate in the region.
For his part, Khojeh praised the Syrian efforts in developing the health sector ,particularly the field of medicine, expressing desire for opening the Gulf markets for Syrian medicine.
