Jerba Unionist Declaration - anniversary

Yesterday marked " the 29th anniversary of the Jerba Unionist Declaration signed in 1974. The declaration stated that the two sisterly countries, the Great Jamahiriya and Tunisia unite in one country with a single flag, army, legislative, executive and legal systems," the Libyan official news agency noted.
"The Jerba Declaration was a continuation of the daring unionist steps taken by the Great Al Fateh Revolution since its launch in 1967," it added.
