Joint Arab and international journalists delegation visits Iraq

The general secretariat of the Arab journalists union decided to send a delegation to Iraq on January 19, to get acquainted with the conditions of Iraq people and the press.

The secretary general of the Arab journalists Union, Salah Eddine Hafez, said that long discussions were held with the International Journalists Federation, which takes Brussels as a headquarters, in order to coordinate cooperation in this regard. It was agreed to send a joint conference to be headed by the chairman of the journalists union in Yemen, Mahboub Ali, while the international side is headed by the International federation's secretary general, Eden White.

The delegation starts the visit across the Jordanian borders, and will spend one week in Iraq.
