O Yahya pleased over negotiations with Tansiqiyat al-Oroush

The Algerian prime minister Ahmad O Yahya, yesterday announced that negotiations between the government and the Berber delegation of Tansiqiyat al-Aroush, the largest family in al-Qabayel area, concluded on Tuesday without reaching a final agreement, but had resulted in "breaking the ice" between the two sides.

O Yahya told the Algerian official TV that this meeting is considered "a turning point," and that it availed "breaking the ice between the government, al-Aroush and the common authorities."

In similar statement in Arabic, Amghazi and French languages, O yahya stressed that the government abided by "five points" which are considered "basics" in the crisis which inflicts the al-Qabayel area, to the east of the capital. The six point is expected to be tackled concerning the solution of the municipal and regional councils in the area during coming negotiations on the implementation of "al-Qaser memorandum."
