Al-Jazeera daily: Saudi Arabian women riding a car detained after exchange of fire with police

The Saudi Arabian security forces yesterday detained a Saudi girl, after they opened fire at her wile driving a car on Monday late night in Tabouk ,to the north of the Kingdom, where females are forbidden from driving a car.
The Saudi daily al-Jazeera said yesterday that the officials in Tabbouk opened the investigation with a girl ,who was driving a car and refused to stop, and this obliged the security men to chase her in Tabbouk's streets. The paper said that the girl was driving at very high speed, and she opened fire from her car, which collided with the Gate of King Khaled hospital in Tabbouk.
The paper explained that when the driver of the car was arrested, she was found out to be a 20 year old women. The paper said that the car was confiscated, while the women was admitted to hospital, as she had slight wounds. She was riding the car while wearing male uniform, and found to be wanted by the security, as she had escaped from her family's home since a while.
