Hariri confers with Syrian agriculture minister on co-operation

Syria's Agriculture Minister Adel Safar conferred with Lebanese Prmie Minister Rafic Hariri on the outcomes of the Lebanese - Syrian Joint Agricultural Committee's meetings that concluded in Beirut yesterday. Safar said that the Committee discussed a number of issues related to facilitating the bilateral commercial exchange of the agrarian products, and establishing firm relations in the fields of agriculture.
He added that Hariri had referred to the necessity of achieving the agricultural industry integration, particularly because there is a real wish for both sides to reach this target, stressing the importance of products' competition.
