Doha tennis tournament: Morocco's El Aynaoui rolled out in 1st round

Morocco's top tennisman, Younes El Aynaoui, was rolled out of the first round of the $1 million Doha tennis tournament Tuesday by France's Nicolas Escude in two sets (6-3, 6-0).
This is the second time 6th seed El Aynaoui is defeated by Escude at the same stage of the Doha tournament. In 2001, The Frenchman had won 6-1, 7-6.
El Aynaoui had won the 2002 edition of the tournament. His victory propelled him to top the world ranking.
Morocco's Hicham Arazi, seeded 48, on Monday qualified Monday to the second round of the tournament after defeating Sweden's Thomas Enqvist: 7-6 (7/1), 2-6, 6-2.
The two Moroccans will play in the double Austria's Stefan Koubek and US Andy Roddick. (MAP)IS
