Syria - Jordan scientific cooperation agreement
Syria-Jordan, Education, 1/7/2004

Syria's Minister of Higher Education, Hani Murtada, signed a scientific cooperation agreement between Syrian Ministry of Higher Education and Jordanian Royal Scientific Association.

The agreement provides exchanging expertise and academics, and establishing joint workshops and seminars between the two sides. Earlier, Murtada met during his visit Jordanian Premier Faysal al-Faiz who stressed the importance of the distinguished and historical ties between the two states, expressing appreciation over the exerted efforts of the education ministers in the two states.

For his part, Murtada expressed the Syrian Universities' readiness to establish joint academic, scientific, and cultural relations between the two asides.

Murtada also met Jordanian Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Issam Zaabalawi. The two sides discussed issues related to the universities concern.
