Al-Azhar Grand Imam, Islamic leaderships to visit Pope Shenouda to congratulate on Christmas

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Mohamed Sayed Tantawi, Minister of Awkaf (Religious Endowments) Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouq and Mufti of the Republic Ali Gomaa, accompanied by a senior Islamic delegation will pay a visit to Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Marc Diocese to congratulate Copts on Christmas.
It is expected that Prime Minister Dr. Atef Ebeid, Speakers of the People's Assembly and Shura Council, ministers, governors and statesmen will pay similar visits to offer congratulations on Christmas.
