Cairo cassation court cancels death sentence against killer of 2 Moroccan women

The court of cassation of the Egyptian capital has cancelled the death sentenced rendered last April against the killer of two Moroccan women and decided to re-try the man, local press reported.
The case dates back to early November 2001 when the Egyptian man, 29, stabbed the woman, with whom he had a relationship, and her mother to death during a quarrel in her apartment before fleeing with their goods. A tribunal in Al Jizeh had condemned him for premeditated murder.
