Morocco, Egypt discuss parliamentary cooperation

Morocco's ambassador to Egypt, Mohamed Faraj Doukkali, held talks in Cairo Thursday with president of the external affairs commission of the Egyptian People Assembly (parliament) on parliamentary cooperation, particularly at the African and Euro-Mediterranean levels.
Cairo will host Monday a conference on "democracy and development" that will convene speakers of African parliaments. Thirty-eight countries, including Morocco, will take part in the event.
