Saudi Arabia: no casualties in al-Salaam quarters in Riyadh

An official at the Saudi ministry of the interior said that no casualties or damaged resulted from the car explosion which took place Monday in Riyadh.
The official said that the car exploded that was parked in front of a building in al-Salam quarters, to the east of Riyadh, noting that it was a small explosion and the car was not booby trapped.
He indicated that the security forces investigate the implications of the incident, and the police cordoned al-Salam quarters and evacuated persons existed near the site of the incident and prevented access to the area.
This incident came following western warnings, the last of which was from Britain on Sunday, of attacks in the kingdom.
