Moroccan, Saudi FMs probe bilateral ties
Saudi Arabia-Morocco, Politics, 12/29/2003

Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohammed Benaissa, currently on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, met in Jeddah Friday evening his Saudi peer, Prince Saoud Al Faisal, on bilateral ties.

Benaissa told MAP news agency the meeting "is part of the two brotherly countries' permanent consultations on means to foster bilateral cooperation and carry on coordination on several Arab, Islamic and International issues."

The head of Moroccan diplomacy said he evoked with Prince Saoud Al Faisal questions of common interest, mainly follow up of the latest High Joint Commission meeting held last August 28-29 in Rabat.

Talks also covered developments in the region, particularly in Iraq and occupied Arab territories, he said.
