Arab states send aid to Iran Earthquake victims

A plane loading Syrian medical aids arrived at the Iranian Karaman Airport overnight as part of the Syrian people's assistance to those affected in the devastating latest earthquake.
Iranian state radio said the Syrian aids included a medical team, 40 tons of various first-aid assistance, drugs and infants foodstuffs.
Also, Egypt's Minister of Culture Farouk Hosny declared that the archaeological experts in the Egyptian Ministry of Culture are ready to present technical support to help preserving the remains of the historical citadel of Bam, considered the most important ancient historical landmarks in Iran and the world.
The citadel was exposed to devastating damages as a result of the earthquake that hit the Iranian city of Bam. The victims were more than 20 thousand persons.
The Minister pointed out that the Orient civilizations integrate with each other however diversified.
The Bam citadel was built more than 2500 years ago and was situated on the ancient "Silk" road between China and Europe.
He considered the citadel of Bam and the adjacent archaeological quarter as important landmarks of the human civilization history of the ancient orient that we all are proud of.
Responding to President Hosni Mubarak's directives, two Egyptian planes loaded with relief supplies arrived in Iran on Sunday to help ease up the adverse impact of the 6.3 degree earthquake that hit southeastern city of Bam on Friday.
ΚΚΚ The plans are carrying ten tones of humanitarian assistance including medical equipment and emergency materials.
President Hosni Mubarak is personally following up the dispatch of urgent relief aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake.
President Mubarak ordered the authorities concerned to maintain constant contacts with the Iranian authorities to get first hand knowledge of their needs and dispatch them immediately.
