Qatar, Mauritania sign several important agreements
Qatar-Mauritania, Politics, 12/26/2003

Qatar and Mauritania signed several bilateral agreements in the areas of trade, the economy and aviation. This came after the visit made by the President of Mauritania Mu'aweya Wild Taye' to Doha, during which he met with the Amir of Qatar, Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The signed agreements include agreements on trade exchange, and economic cooperation, preventing double taxation, as well as a cooperation agreement in the field of air aviation between the two states.

The President of Mauritania held earlier talks with the Amir of Qatar that dealt with developments on the Arab and international arenas. Worthy mentioning that the Amir of Qatar was the first President to visit Nouakchott to congratulate President Wild Taye' following the failure of the coupe attempt against him in June this year.
