Sayyid Fahd receives gulf businesswomen

"Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, received at his office today participants in the AGCC Businesswomen First Forum which concluded here" yesterday reported the Omani News agnecy ONA..

The report said "He reviewed the development of the role of the Omani women in the society and the status it was accorded, thanks to the directives of H.M. the Sultan."

The report said "The Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers told the businesswomen that the AGCC currently assesses ways of boosting their participation in social and economic development and balancing the woman roles in the family and the community."Ê

Participants expressed admiration of the renaissance achievements and t"he privileges enjoyed by the Omani women," the report said.
