Palestinian child killed in Balata camp, Israeli forces continue incursion

A five- year old Palestinian child was killed by the fire of the Israeli occupation forces in Balata camp to the east of Nablus. Last week, a 14- year old boy was killed from the same camp, because of the wounds in his head.

Since yesterday at dawn, the occupation forces incurred into Balata camp, and the city of Nablus to the north of the West Bank, and launched a campaign of arrest in the line of Palestinian activists, during which they arrested Adnan Asfour, the prominent political figure in the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, when he was at his father's house in Nablus.

The occupation forces also broke into Ibad al-Rahman's mosque in the city, and disturb its content, after they had earlier confiscated its computer equipment.

At the time when the occupation forces continued invading operations and detention acts among the Palestinians, clashes erupted with Palestinian demonstrators who threw stones the occupation forces, and this resulted in wounding many of them.

In Toulkarem camp, the Israeli occupation forces continued tightening the siege imposed on citizens there, and broke into several houses under the pretext of searching for wanted Palestinians.

On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces incurred in Rafah in Gaza, which borders Egypt, and destroyed five houses, according to witnesses and demolished remains of 20 houses which were earlier damaged.

One Palestinian was hit in his chest during fire exchange, in the operation in which the Israeli forces used armored vehicles and bulldozers.

However, Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ, still suffers the Israeli siege which bans access to pilgrims or tourists to celebrating Christmas.
