Al-Assad confers with Iraqi writers delagtions

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received on Sunday morning a delegation representing Iraqi writers, artists and men of literature. Talks dealt with the current situation in Iraq and the Iraqis' sufferings under the American occupation and efforts being exerted for building a new Democratic Iraq under the shadow of a national elected government and a new constitution.
