Maher to visit Tel Aviv next Monday

Egypt' sForeign Minister Ahmed Maher said yesterday that he will visit Israel on Monday, to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Israeli President Moshe Katzav and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom.
Maher pointed out that his visit comes within Egypt's contacts will all parties to achieve peace, adding that Egypt's message to Israel now in this time is ripe for all parties' move towards peace, as settlement of the issue will be not scored without peace based on justice and legitimacy.
Amr Moussa,Arab League Secretary General, yesterday met with David Satterfield, Assistant of the Deputy of the US Secretary of State.
Satterfield described this meeting as very fruitful where many important issues, relating to the region, have been discussed including the Palestinian-Israeli situation.
In statements following the meeting, Satterfield confirmed that changing the status quo between the Palestinians and the Israelis require achieving mutual commitments between both parties.
