Al-Assad visit Greek parliament: the Mediterranean to be nuclear free zone

President Bashar al-Assad paid a visit Monday to the Greek Parliament headquarters where he was received by the Greek Parliament Speaker Apostolos Kaklamanis.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations between the two countries and the necessity of exchanging expertise and enhancing the bilateral cooperation on the economic and parliamentary levels.
The issue of terrorism, means of combating it, its causes and roots were also discussed. At the end of the meeting, the Speaker of the Greek Parliament expressed to reporters his pleasure over the visit of President al-Assad.
Al-Assad, accompanied by several ministers said " I reviewed with Mr. Kaklamanis the issues discussed with the Greek President, particularly, the Syrian initiative related to making the Middle East a region free of weapons of mass destruction, and the great developments Syria passed in the negotiations with Europeans about the partnership agreement. " President said.
He talked also about the support Syria wants from Greece in order to put the necessary final lines to complete this agreement.
