People's movement delegation meets with Turabi in Khartoum
The delegation representing the southern rebels met with by leader of the opposition People's Congress party Hassan al-Turabi in his house in the capital Khartoum.The delegation discussed with Turabi means of developing dialogue between the two sides that started since three years when the two sides signed a memorandum of political alliance that resulted in detaining Turabi for more than 2 years.

Hunger strike by imprisoned journalist nothing to do with detention conditions, official

In one of the Bedouin's tents within the area, Syria's First Lady listened to music played on Rababah and to Arabic poetry recited by Rababah (musical instrument) player, and viewed a display of Arabic coffee and sweets. She then moved on to a second tent where an exhibition of tools that are still used in the Badia to accomplish everyday tasks including spinning and baking bread are on display. She was briefed on the sulfur water bath and also on the many beneficial use of sulfur water.
